Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to join one of the largest financial services giants based in Munich. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of the company's information security strategy, ensuring that robust security policies, procedures, and controls are in place to protect critical financial data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain information security frameworks and protocols in alignment with industry standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
- Conduct risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into business processes and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, maintaining regulatory and audit readiness.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Proven experience in information security management within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 are highly desirable.
- Fluent in English and German is mandatory.
