Site Supervisor / Construction Manager(Mechanical Assembly & Commissioning)For one of Germany’s leading manufacturing companies, for which we provide recruitment consultancy, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor / Construction Manager.We would be happy to connect with professionals who have strong field assembly and commissioning experience, especially within energy and industrial plant projects, and who are motivated to build a long-term career in Germany.🎯 Role ObjectiveEnsure on-time, high-quality assembly and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipmentDeliver excellent service and ensure high customer satisfaction on-site🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesIndependent assembly and commissioning of high-quality conveyor systems and industrial equipment at the factory and/or customer sites in Germany and abroadPartial leadership and coordination of site assembly teamsExecution of worldwide service activities, including maintenance and inspectionsReceiving, installing, and replacing spare parts at customer sitesTroubleshooting, fault analysis, and resolution of mechanical issuesConducting customer training sessions at the main plant and on-siteRepresenting the company on construction sites and fostering long-term customer relationships through a service-oriented approach✅ Your Profile🔧 Technical QualificationsCompleted vocational training or degree in a mechanical or metalworking field (e.g. Industrial Mechanic, Mechanical Technician/Engineer, etc.)5+ years of relevant experience in field assembly, mechanical installation, or commissioning of large components and systemsExperience in industrial plants, energy projects, machinery, process or equipment installationVery good English skills; German (A2 or higher) is an advantageBasic PC and technical documentation skills🤝 Personal & Professional SkillsStrong problem-solving skills in site-based environmentsHigh level of communication skills and customer orientationAbility to work independently as well as within international teamsConfident, professional, and convincing presence on-siteStrong organizational and leadership capabilitiesWillingness to travel internationally and work at different locationsMotivation for a long-term career and life in Germany💼 What We OfferIG Metall collective agreement€90,000 – €120,000 gross annual salary (depending on experience and qualifications)Permanent (unlimited) employment contractRelocation supportInternational projects within the energy & industrial plants sectorStable role within a well-established German manufacturing company
