For our client, a leading international company with a strong global reputation, we are currently recruiting the ‘Senior Manager Global Total Rewards – Benefits (m/f/d)’ based in Düsseldorf, Germany.Driven by strong brands, innovation, and a clear sustainability agenda, the company is strengthening its Global Total Rewards function. With around 50,000 employees worldwide, it successfully combines long-standing heritage with innovative strength.Your RoleYou will hold global responsibility for the design, governance, and continuous development of the international benefits portfolio, ensuring programs are competitive, cost-efficient, and fully compliant.Key ResponsibilitiesShape and continuously evolve the global benefits strategy in line with total rewards and business objectivesAct as the global subject-matter expert for pension and retirement programs (DB/DC), ensuring governance, compliance, and efficient plan designAdvise regional total rewards teams on local insurance and benefits programs, balancing competitiveness and risk managementManage and negotiate global partnerships with insurers, brokers, and consulting firms to drive performance and service qualityPartner closely with Finance/Treasury to manage the global benefits budget and implement cost-efficient financing modelsEnsure global legal, regulatory, and data protection compliance (e.g. GDPR)Drive digitalization of benefits through HR systems (e.g. Workday, SAP), enabling self-service and enhanced employee communicationQualificationsMaster’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related fieldExtensive experience in Total Rewards, including 5+ years in global benefits within a multinational environmentStrong track record in selecting, negotiating, and managing global brokers and consulting partnersDeep knowledge of global regulatory and compliance frameworksExcellent English skills; German and additional languages are a plusProfile MindsetInternational mindset with strong communication and coordination skillsExcellent stakeholder management and service orientationCollaborative, assertive, and results-driven, with high integrityProactive, accountable, and quality-focusedStrong cost awareness and commercial mindsetIf You are looking for a forward-looking and dynamic environment where you can operate independently and make a real impact, we look forward to receiving your application, including salary expectations and availability, preferably via email to harrenga@heimeier.de.
