German Speaking Java/Kotlin Developer opportunity in the Heart of Munich


My client, a leader in Germany`s online marketplace industry is looking to expand the Software Development team with a Backend Focused hire


Responsibilities:

  • Analyse requirements and craft innovative features for the web portal and Android app.
  • Ensure seamless platform operation through effective troubleshooting.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, both automated and manual, to maintain product integrity.
  • Document code and software developments meticulously.


Requirements:

  • GERMAN FLUENCY - C1+
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Expertise in multithreaded programming for high-traffic websites is nice to have.
  • Strong grasp of databases, particularly MySQL.
  • Bonus points for experience with Spring framework, Solr, Tomcat, and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with internet standards such as HTML and RESTful Web Services.
  • Ability to decipher complex systems and articulate them clearly.
  • Analytical mindset, coupled with a collaborative spirit and drive for quality.
