Our German business is led by a team of highly experienced MDs focused on delivering advisory services across Restructuring, Debt Advisory and Strategy / Value Creation. As a Senior Manager in our Debt Advisory team, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues who bring deep expertise and long-standing relationships with a diverse pool of funding partners. Our team provides pragmatic, independent advice to companies at every stage of their fundraising journey. Our clients include listed companies, privately owned businesses, and private equity-backed firms across a wide range of industries. This is a client-facing position and the successful candidate will use their expertise on large and mid-sized complex debt restructurings. Clients may include institutional investors, distressed debt hedge funds, Leveraged Finance banks and CLOs, private equity sponsors and additional key stakeholders involved in transactions. Requirements Leading Debt Advisory engagements and work streams from inception to completion, ensuring the successful execution of transactions Working for clients including Private Equity Funds and German Mittelstand companies, assignments will include structured & acquisition financing, leveraged buy-outs, recapitalization projects (good & bad book), and the creation of financing strategies & credit facilities Utilising debt products including Acquisition Financing, Receapitalisations, Unitranche funding, bonds, and special situations debt, DCM, private placements, investment grade, leveraged and structured finance, traditional bank financing and debt capital markets (both public and private) Reviewing term sheets and debt documents, creating and analysing complex financial models and assessing impact on client's cashflows and strategic ambitions Conducting comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, providing insights to clients to inform their decisions Creating and presenting compelling pitch materials, investment memorandums, and financial models to support client engagements and business development efforts Guiding junior team members and support to foster their professional development and enhance team performance Qualifications  Strong academic background with significant experience in a Debt Advisory team at a leading consultancy, accountancy or boutique capital advisory firm or a Bank Extensive experience in Debt Advisory, with a strong focus on capital advisory services and transaction execution Knowledge of a variety of debt instruments (bonds, loans, senior/junior/mezzanine, secured/unsecured) combined with an understanding of the European debt market is desirable Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to think strategically & find solutions to complex problems Well-developed modelling capabilities with extensive experience in LBO cashflow modeling, financial covenant stress testing, forecasting cashflows and debt Excellent written and oral communications skills in addition to confident and impactful presentation abilities Native or Business fluent German & English (C1) is essential; additional European languages are highly desirable Professional with the ability to engage effectively with clients in high-pressure situations Flexibility to travel when required for client engagements Well networked with a highly respected reputation for project delivery across the Private Equity and Corporate community Benefits At Interpath, we know our people are our greatest asset.
