Workster is partnering with a leading travel management, corporate card, and expense management company to recruit a Senior Business Travel Consultant to join their Portugal-based team.In this role, you will provide high-quality support to corporate travelers, handling bookings for accommodations, flights, rail travel, and other business travel services. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless travel arrangements, assisting with self-service tools, and ensuring compliance with company and customer policies.This is a full-time position, offering the flexibility of remote work across Portugal or a hybrid model in Lisbon.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide customer support via chat, calls, and emails, ensuring a smooth travel experienceStay up to date with relevant travel information, destinations, and service providersAssess customer needs, urgency, and preferences efficientlyHandle complex travel bookings, including flights, rail, accommodations, and additional servicesAssist customers with self-service options on travel platforms and appsEnsure responses are timely and aligned with service level agreements (SLAs)Maintain compliance with company and customer policies, following global travel standardsProvide feedback to stakeholders on service improvements and key processesParticipate in team discussions on industry trends, products, and service providersStay informed about best practices in business travelMeet attendance, training, and performance expectationsRequirementsFluent German (C1+), both written and spoken5+ years of experience in a business travel consultant role, handling air, rail, and accommodation bookings3+ years of experience using GDS (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) – MandatoryExperience in customer-facing roles or contact center environmentsProficiency with tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and SalesforceAbility to work rotating shifts (Monday to Sunday, 7 AM – 11 PM)Strong multitasking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and handle customer issues efficientlyProfessional, empathetic, and excellent communication skillsAdditional language skills in French, German, Spanish, or Italian are a plus.The OfferCompetitive remuneration package based on experience, skills, and performanceFlexible work model – Remote (Portugal) or Hybrid (Lisbon)Medical, dental, and vision plans with premium coveragePaid parental leave and bereavement leaveSubsidized commuter benefitsMental health support programsConnectivity stipends to support remote workGuidance, training, and career development toolsReady to start an international career from Portugal?Apply now and start your international career with Workster 🌟
