UAS Drone Pilot

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled UASDrone Pilot to join our team for operations across various sectors,including but not limited to surveying, infrastructure inspection,agriculture, environmental monitoring, and emergency response. As aDrone Pilot, you will be responsible for the safe and efficientexecution of complex drone missions, managing the technical aspectsof unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and adhering to strict regulatorystandards in diverse European airspaces.

Thisposition requires a deep technical understanding of dronetechnology, flight planning, regulatory compliance, and riskmanagement, with a focus on precision operations in both urban andrural environments.

• Plan, coordinate,and execute complex drone missions in accordance with operationalgoals, ensuring optimal flight safety and dataquality.
• Perform manual and autonomous flightoperations using a variety of drone systems (e.g., multirotors,fixed-wing, hybrid), including the latest models in surveying,inspection, and mapping.
• Work withcross-functional teams to integrate drone capabilities with othertechnologies (e.g., LiDAR, thermal imaging, photogrammetry, GISmapping tools).
• Ensure all drone operationscomply with European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA)regulations and local laws of operation across different Europeancountries.
• Oversee the collection ofhigh-resolution aerial data (e.g., images, video, 3D models,thermal imagery) during flight missions.
• Ensureproper storage and security of data collected during flights,complying with data protection regulations (e.g.,GDPR).
• Perform basic post-processing tasks(e.g., georeferencing, stitching, creating flight logs) and workwith external software platforms (e.g., Pix4D, DroneDeploy,Agisoft).
• Conduct pre-flight equipment checks,including batteries, sensors, camera systems, and communicationlinks.
• Provide comprehensive mission reports,including flight logs, data analysis, and actionable insights forclients.

• EASA-approveddrone pilot license (A1/A3, A2, orequivalent).
• Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) orother relevant European aviationcertifications.
• Minimum 3 years of professionaldrone piloting experience in complexoperations.
• Extensive experience with droneplatforms such as DJI Matrice, Phantom, Inspire, or custom-builtUAS.
• Proven track record of flying drones forcommercial applications in sectors like surveying, mapping,infrastructure inspection, oragriculture.
• Experience in working withinrestricted airspace and coordinating with aviation authorities(ATC).
• Strong knowledge of geospatial software(e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS, Pix4D, Agisoft) and drone flight managementtools (e.g., DJI Terra, Litchi).
• Expertise inflying drones in diverse environments (urban, rural, industrial,hazardous).
• Strong knowledge of drone flightsystems, payloads (e.g., LiDAR, RGB cameras, multispectralsensors), and sensor calibration.
• Familiaritywith international regulations regarding drone operations,especially in the EuropeanUnion.
• Problem-solving skills with the abilityto troubleshoot complex technical issues in thefield.
• Strong organizational skills andattention to detail for mission planning, data management, andsafety protocols.

• High proficiency indata post-processing techniques and software tools (e.g.,photogrammetry, georeferencing).
• A degree ordiploma in Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Aviation, Geomatics,Engineering, or a related field is highlypreferred.
• First AidCertification.
• Willingness to travel frequentlyacross Europe for client projects and site-specificoperations.
