Position Overview
As a Senior Java Software Engineer, you will be in charge of designing, building, and supporting stable and scalable Java applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as product management, design, and quality assurance, to develop high-quality software solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and advancement within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, build, and deploy services and applications based on Java.
- Work together with stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Ensure code quality by conducting unit tests, code reviews, and adhering to best practices.
- Identify and resolve performance and bug concerns in a timely manner.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design and architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- German speaking proficiency is a must, C1 or above.
- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Proficiency in Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).
