Position Overview: As a Strategic Technical Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our procurement team, responsible for sourcing and managing the supply of high-quality materials and components. You will develop and implement strategic purchasing initiatives to optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure the timely delivery of materials essential for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for technical materials and components.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand technical requirements and ensure the procurement of suitable materials.
• Analyze market trends and conduct cost analysis to drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes to support production schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in the tool manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in German and English.
