As Product Manager for Germany, you will be working within the Local sales Team for low voltage products, you will be responsible for carrying out product marketing strategy in line with global product strategy and supporting the implementation of CHINT brand in your respective market


Responsibilities


  • Implement core offering low voltage product according to local market needs and standards.
  • Set an efficient approach to make the product lines clearly understandable from the market.
  • Define price positioning of CHINT low voltage products (industrial control, building, energy distribution…) according to local market needs (industry usage/channel specificities) and global strategy.
  • Manage and implement closely with Regional Product Manager product information in local data base (general data, prices) – Microsoft Dynamics 365 for defined perimeter of products.
  • Work closely with supply chain team to improve stock level needs according to market needs.
  • Establish competitors’ analysis on main product lines to set appropriate price level for respective market.
  • Work closely with Marcom to put in place marketing content as updated local catalogs, websites, sales tools.
  • Definition and communication of products value propositions internally and externally
  • Initiates and assist in the creation, planning and execution of external and internal product training modules and programs and other digital marketing promotion.
  • Leading life cycle management for the current assigned portfolio on local market.
  • Keep Regional Product Manager informed about local standards, local market requirements, customer needs, values and application as an input to cover potential gap in the existing portfolio or new product development.
  • Propose and follow the execution of marketing plan according to sales representative’s feedback, markets needs and global strategy.
  • Coordinates market analyses, customer and application trends with sales representatives’ team to defines appropriate forecasts for each product lines.
  • Close collaboration with Regional Product Manager for product gross margin, product lines forecast according to defined targets on respective market.


In your product management role, you will be also a sales facilitator by

  • Making the sales team efficient by delivering appropriate product and market trends knowledge through trainings & general information meetings.
  • Proactively providing technical product support and training and recommendations to the Sales team for specified products
  • Demonstrating products using all types of tools (brochures, workshops, presentations) and articulate product capabilities and sales differentiators (unique selling points).
  • Providing a communication path to the respective product management responsible relating to commercial and operational issues.


Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in low voltage products environment
  • Holding a strong technical background completed with a business-oriented background.
  • Having experience about relevant products or industries - Strong industry and/or building domain knowledge
  • Awareness of business scheme for low voltage product (Wholesalers, OEM, ends-users, installers, Panel Builders,
  • Fluency in German and English - Strong oral and written communications is expected.
