In this role you will lead a team of 10employees and report directly to the Vice President Sales BU FoodApplication Solutions. GEA Food Solutions Germany GmbH inBiedenkopf-Wallau is a leading supplier of innovative equipment andtechnologies for the food processing industry.

Your responsibilities andtasks:

  • Fiscal year toplineresponsibility for Product Lines Thermoforming &Cutters
  • Be the sales representative in thelocal management team
  • Take over responsibilityfor coordinating and driving strategic and operational salesactivities
  • Enhance the sale process to reduceresponse times to stakeholders as well as to shorten quotationcycles
  • Evaluate and optimize pricingmethodologies and establish a new pricing governance to improvegross margins
  • Develop and optimizeRoute2Market strategy for Thermoforming & Cutters
  • Drive an active Sales Performance Management based onKPIs
  • Develop a guided-selling approach andsupport the implementation of a configurator/ CPQ Tool

Your profile andqualifications:

  • Universitydegree in business administration, engineering orequivalent
  • Over 3 years of experience inmanaging a global sales and marketing team within a matrixorganization of an international company
  • Deepcommercial knowledge and understanding, incl. contractmanagement
  • Goal and performanceorientation
  • Leadership skills to build aninternational and high-performing team
  • Strongstrategic mindset and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Good balance between analytical skills, a structuredworking mode and hands-on mentality
  • Fluency inEnglish, another European language would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel approx. 20% (national andinternational)
