🏗️ Freelance Construction ManagerLocation: Greater Hamburg area Contract Type: Freelance / Project-Based Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)🌍 Project OverviewCurrently we are looking for a Construction Manager for one of Europe's most ambitious infrastructure projects. It includes road and rail links, tunnel portals, and extensive marine and civil works. As a freelance Construction Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering this landmark project to world-class standards.🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day construction activities across assigned work packagesCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure timely and safe executionMonitor progress, quality, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirementsLead site meetings, report on milestones, and resolve on-site issues proactivelyEnsure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standardsLiaise with client representatives, consultants, and local authoritiesSupport risk management, cost control, and schedule optimization🎯 Qualifications & ExperienceCivil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field backgroundMinimum 8 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or marine constructionProven track record managing multidisciplinary teams on complex projectsStrong understanding of European construction regulations and safety standardsFluent in English; German language skills are a plusExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, BIM)
