Job Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Production Packer to join our logistics team in our Cologne distribution centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking, packing, and preparing shipments of medical devices. As this role involves handling regulated medical products, the candidate must have the ability to follow strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Accurately pick orders from inventory based on pick lists, ensuring correct product types and quantities.
- Packing & Labeling: Safely pack products following specific packaging guidelines and ensure all packages are correctly labeled according to regulatory and company standards.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on products and packaging to ensure compliance with strict industry and regulatory standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining accurate stock levels by reporting discrepancies and keeping organized records of materials.
- SOP Compliance: Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the handling and packaging of regulated products, including medical devices.
- Documentation: Complete necessary documentation accurately to ensure traceability and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting any safety concerns to management.
Qualifications:
- Experience with packaging medical devices or other highly regulated products.
- Fluent level of German.
- Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse environment, ideally in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or food products.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing tasks.
- Ability to follow written SOPs and work in a highly regulated environment.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift boxes throughout the shift.
