Are you an accomplished Sales Director with a proven track record of leading Regional Account Managers repeatedly to high growth revenue targets? Do you excel at delivery, driving value, maximising growth, and enhancing sales performance?


Can you offer coaching and mentoring to nurture and develop the specialist skills your team needs to win? Are you data led and action biased with a demonstrable history of driving sales performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


As a Sales Director at A-SAFE, your primary responsibility is to support and enhance your teams ongoing customer relationships and deliver outstanding sales performance. Your team are responsible for growing sales year on year with a designated existing client bank within a defined geography.

You will ensure your team are consistently growing and managing sales pipeline by executing all elements of the sales funnel to the highest standards.

Our commitment to innovation is evident in our technology and product offering and world leading production capability, to facilitate rapid acceleration at scale we have identified the need for a Sales Director reporting directly to the Subsidy Managing Director and having line management of the Regional Account Managers.


What you will be doing:


  • Assume direct ownership and commercial control of the regional sales function, from end-to-end, to achieve agreed revenue growth objective and meet all KPIs.
  • Identify performance-related issues within the sales team through regular reviews and analysis, as required initiate interventions to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Take charge of the commercial revenue goals. Develop and forecast commercial goals, measure and improve the sales cycle, sales funnel, average deal size and overall revenue.
  • Proactively and visibly lead by example the field sales effort, fostering direct relationships with customers and demonstrating excellence to your team.
  • Work seamlessly with New Business Development and Key Account functions at the hand off points, and receipt into your Regional Sales function.
  • Work collaboratively with the EMEA key accounts team to develop and implement country-level customer strategies for our highest potential European clients.
  • Actively participate in internal events, influencing team events and company briefs.
  • Foster an entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ spirit within a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure all internal systems (CRM & ERP) and databases are updated timely and accurately.


Must have:


  • A proven track record of leading sales teams through a metrics driven performance management approach.
  • A successful track record of growing profitable businesses targeting B2B customers, with an entrepreneurial mindset and dynamic execution.
  • Confidence in building strong relationships with existing customers and multiple domains.
  • Skilled networker and facilitator, able to network across domains, introduce subject matter experts into the equation, drive continued value for the customer and performance in the team.
  • Effective communication, able balance commercial and technical requirements.
  • ·Able to build business cases for service scale and expansion, including case for further Investment.
  • Strong leadership, strong decision-making skills, leads by example but is also open and collaborative.
  • A pragmatic approach, comfortable under the pressure of change and moving targets.
  • Fluent in German & English, with a high level of proficiency in professional business communication.
  • Pragmatic, adaptable, and resilient under pressure.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
