Operations Director

We are exclusively representing a high-profile leader in power equipment providing complex, customised solutions worldwide.

Located in their 'jewel in the crown' site in Belecke, they are seeking a senior and experienced Operations and Supply Chain leader with a demonstrated background working within a business in Engineering-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing.

A summary of the responsibilities and required experience is below:

• ETO (Engineering-to-order) i.e. complex, customised manufacturing environment experience is essential
• Hands-on experience with successful turn-around projects of manufacturing operations
• Leadership of operational strategy including make-or-buy, planning, sourcing and assembly decisions.
• Management of a team of 120 FTE's with a management layer directly reporting to the Operations Director
• Identify and implement improvements such as efficiency, inventory, lead times and on-time delivery
• P&L responsibility
• 7+ years experience in a manufacturing operational management role
• Proven experience driving organisational change and improvement
• Technical education is an advantage
