We are looking for a dedicated Field Engineer to support retail projects across Germany. In this role, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers and ensuring the functionality of our products on site.


You should be based in a central location close to airports in major European cities such as Berlin and Amsterdam or Warsaw.

Main focus of the job:

  • Installation and assembly of shelving systems in accordance with technical specifications and planning documents.
  • Carrying out site visits to assess site conditions and coordinate installation plans with customers.
  • Ensuring the proper functioning and stability of the installed racking systems.
  • Regular maintenance and inspection of the racking systems in order to detect and rectify signs of wear at an early stage.
  • Diagnosis and troubleshooting in the event of technical problems and replacement of defective components.
  • Training retail employees in the correct handling and care of the shelving systems.
  • Working closely with the sales and customer service team to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Document installations, maintenance work and technical problem solving according to company standards.
  • Project management with customers and internal organizational units.

You should have the following qualifications for this position:

  • Completed training in mechanical engineering, process engineering, electrical engineering, information technology or comparable technical qualifications.
  • Professional experience as a field engineer or in a similar position in retail or related industries.
  • Technical understanding and manual dexterity for the assembly and installation of shelving systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical problems in an understandable way.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Europe.
  • Team orientation and customer focus to provide excellent service.
  • Negotiable knowledge of German and English is a prerequisite, knowledge of French is an advantage.
