I am seeking a skilled C++ Image Processing Engineer to join my clients cutting-edge team focused on developing advanced medical imaging solutions. The successful candidate will work on the design, implementation, and optimization of image processing algorithms tailored to the healthcare industry, helping to improve the accuracy and efficiency of diagnostic tools.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, test, and optimize C++ code for advanced image processing algorithms used in medical imaging applications.
  • Design algorithms for image segmentation, enhancement, registration, denoising, and reconstruction of medical images (e.g., MRI, CT, ultrasound).
  • Implement performance optimization strategies, focusing on speed and memory usage for real-time medical imaging applications.
  • Work with 3D medical imaging modalities and DICOM standards to ensure high-quality image processing results.
  • Maintain and extend existing image processing software libraries, integrating new functionalities as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in C++ programming, with a focus on image processing and computer vision applications.
  • Strong understanding of image processing concepts such as filtering, segmentation, feature extraction, and pattern recognition.
  • Experience with 3D medical image processing (e.g., MRI, CT) and knowledge of DICOM standards.
  • Solid background in mathematics, particularly in linear algebra, geometry, and numerical methods.
  • Familiarity with image processing libraries and tools such as OpenCV, ITK, VTK.
  • Experience with multithreading and performance optimization techniques.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment, adhering to quality standards and medical device regulations (FDA, ISO).
  • The ideal candidate must be residing in Berlin
