Position: Systems Engineer for Telecommunications satellite missions

Location: Germany

Salary: Negotiable


Our client based in Germany is recruiting a Systems Engineer for Telecommunications satellite missions (Permanent role)

Your Duties will include: Systems Engineer for Telecommunications satellite missions


  • Lead the system engineering tasks in the telecommunication satellite business
  • Provide guidance to the telecommunication business in studies and project w.r.t. overall mission definition, satellite design
  • Cooperate with the payload department in telecom and the other satellite engineering department on the satellite design
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to align technical requirements and design objectives
  • Design a telecommunication constellation system in studies and projects
  • Support cost optimization of the OHB telecommunication platform products


Your Qualifications:


  • Master degree in engineering, physics or aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in space business in particular telecommunication
  • Experience in system engineering from mission definition (including constellation) and satellite/platform/subsystems design
  • Experience in proposal preparation for study (phase A/B) and projects (phase B/C/D) in space business desiderable
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to identify personally with the goals
  • Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Very good knowledge of English language
