Annual global deal volume consistently exceeds €100bn+, with Germany representing one of the fastest-growing European franchises.The Frankfurt office is expanding its M&A investment team due to strong pipeline across mid- and large-cap transactions and increasing cross-border deal flow.Role Summary:Generalist M&A role within Germany country coverage, with exposure to a wide set of products and sectors:M&A buyside & sellsidePublic M&A and takeover situationsValuation, modelling and transaction executionCapital structure analysis and debt advisory supportKey ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end execution support across public & private M&A mandatesFinancial modelling (LBO, DCF, merger models), valuation workstreams, process managementPreparation of investment materials, marketing documentation, board materialsMarket, industry and strategic analyses for German and cross-border clientsCollaborate with seniors on client interactions, pitches, and transaction structuringSupport debt advisory mandates through capital structure and financing analysisWork closely with international sector teams on cross-border situationsCandidate Requirements1–3 years of experience in M&A or strong corporate finance roles (investment banking, elite boutiques, Big 4 TAS, or selective PE/consulting backgrounds)Strong execution toolkit: modelling, valuation, process coordinationSolid understanding of German market dynamics; German fluency requiredAbility to operate in a generalist environment across multiple sectorsHigh attention to detail, strong client-handling mindset, and ability to deliver under time pressureMotivated to develop long-term within a global advisory & principal investment platformOpportunityJoin a globally recognised advisory platform with one of the most active deal pipelines in GermanyWork across a broad set of products – M&A, public markets, and debt advisoryEarly responsibility with strong exposure to senior leadership (MDs, Partners)Integrated European platform with frequent cross-border deal teamsStrong career progression from Associate → VP within a merit-based environmentFlexibility to steer toward sector specialization at VP level and beyond
