Job description

1.0 SUMMARY

Work in a team to offer technical support and assistance to Data Physics and Team customers. The product range will include dynamic signal analyzers, vibration controllers and shakers, with an emphasis on LE Shakers.

You will be responsible for pre- and post-sales support for your region. Your job will include customer interaction, trouble shooting, test set-up and verification, demonstrations, training, both web-based and in classroom settings, contributing to a FAQ data base and technical writing of manuals and application notes.

Manage customer contact information and activity through Salesforce CRM system to assure a continuing high level of customer satisfaction. You will be collaborating closely with Sales and Engineering to deliver customer feedback to increase product quality and customer satisfaction.

 

1.1 ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

This position is expected to work well will all departments including design engineering, marketing, and sales teams to win customer projects. This position will report to the EMEA Sales Director.


2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales and Support:

· Territory responsibility (all DP and Team products).

· Primary sales support for each territory.

· Support for Sales demos.

· Proposal technical response (RFP) support.

· New feature requests.

· Primary distributor & customer support for each territory.

· Handle Support Cases.

· Enter JIRA Issues.

· Escalate customer issues.

· Distributor & Customer Training.

· Develop training materials for your products.

· Conduct training courses at NVT offices and distributor or customer sites.

· Software Release Testing.

· Software releases will be made at least once per year for each Product (Signal Analyzers and Vibration Controllers).

· Application Engineers will be called upon to support software release testing.

· JIRA issues are tested by the originator (if possible).

· Special Projects (assigned on a quarterly basis):

· Technical Papers & Application Notes.

· Knowledgebase.

· Application Seminars.

 

3.0 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities but is expected to be a resource for other members of the team.


4.0 TRAVEL

 This position includes occasional travel.


5.0 SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

· Requires familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.

· Requires extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.

· Experience in operating or maintaining electromagnetic and/or hydraulic shakers for vibration testing.

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.



6.0 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

· Requires a Bachelor of Science or equivalent from a technical school with related experience and/or training.

· Experience with vibration test and measurement systems and instrumentation is required.

Work is primarily an office environment in nature therefore, no special demands are required.

 

70,000€ to 75,000€ per year depending on experience.
