Product Manager - Residential BESS and Inverters - Freiburg


Recently JD Ross have started to exclusively partner a brand-new business for the German residential market across PV systems, inverters and BESS units, with exciting plans to continue expanding this portfolio in the coming months.


As a Product Manager for this business, you will be covering regional markets and managing the full product lifecycle, right from planning through to launch.


With a full product range available to you, and an extensive R&D team spanning across 2 continents, you will be a crucial member to the growth of this company.


The responsibilities for this position include:

  • Being the in-house specialist for all things PV systems, inverters and BESS systems.
  • Collaborating closely with the Sales, Project Management, R&D and engineering teams to create the best product and customer experience possible.
  • Contribute to the go-to-market tactics for each of the products in the portfolio.
  • Travelling internationally to represent the company.
  • Support sales in customer meetings to fully provide product details and support.
  • Training internal and external stakeholders on the fully capabilities of the products.


Given the responsibilities for this position, and how crucial this role will play in the continued growth of this company, the following requirements must be met.

  • Minimum of 3 years of product management experience within the residential renewable energy market.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel domestically.
  • Minimum of a bachelors degree in Engineering, electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Customer-focussed mentality and approach.
