PCB Developer (m/f/d)

For one of our partners from Germany, one of the biggest players in the development and implementation of complete space systems, we are searching for a PCB Developer.


The position is permanent, with occasional visits to the office in Munich.

Responsibilities:


  • Generating PCB layouts conducive to manufacturing, adhering to current IPC or ECSS standards, aligning closely with circuit developers' specifications.
  • Collaborating with developers to produce and refine circuit diagrams.
  • Liaising with manufacturing teams to ensure alignment of layouts.
  • Generating manufacturing documentation (such as drawings, parts lists, and manufacturing data).
  • Contributing to the maintenance of component libraries and master data per internal design standards.
  • Reviewing externally created layouts and coordinating with external service providers.
  • Participating in component testing, and assisting in the development and setup of test systems.


Qualifications:


  • Technician with a specialization in electrical engineering or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, microsystems, or equivalent.
  • Several years of professional experience in creating intricate PCB layouts using Mentor PADS.
  • Proficiency in handling complex high-speed, power, HDI applications, or sensitive analog signals.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English, German preffered.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Hands-on experience in generating PCB layouts for aerospace applications.
  • Familiarity with PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in electronic circuit development and simulation.
  • Proficiency in signal integrity analysis software (e.g., HyperLynx).
  • Interest and knowledge in basic mechanical CAD designs.
  • Understanding of programming languages (Python, C/C++, Tcl, etc.).
