About this position 

Are you a seasoned Product Operations Manager? Join us at GLS/NXT to lead and innovate in the field of logistics technology. You will be responsible for rolling out several products, monitoring and analyzing their performance and identifying and fixing potential issues. With your expertise in product operations and the gathered feedback of our end users you will stimulate continuous product improvements. As a key and early hire, all doors are open for your personal and professional development – you are in the driver's seat 

 

Your responsibilities 

  • Manage the rollout of new products, features, and updates
  • Identify and prioritize product improvement opportunities using both qualitative (user research & briefing) and quantitative (product & behavior monitoring) methods 
  • Collaborate with data analysts to define and monitor key performance metrics 
  • Collaborate closely within your team and other teams, such as product management, sales, customer support, and operations to ensure product success and growth 
  • Manage operational incidents efficiently 
  • Develop product documentation and training materials, including process definitions and communications 
  • Handle carrier internal product marketing and communication, including collaboration with business development colleagues on external communication
  • Maintain a deep understanding of key drivers of product success and levers for improvement 


What you need to be successful 

Background

  • 7+ years of experience in the product operations filed, including at least 3 years with hardware/software integrated products
  • Experience in logistics or parcel locker operations is a plus 
  • Proficiency in managing IoT devices, technical workflows, and best practices in user research 
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on product-related analytics
  • Proficiency speaking and writing German and English

Willingness to travel - for this role, you will be required to travel up to 20% of your time.

More specifically, our sphere of interest are the Logistics and eCommerce sector. We are entrepreneurs and hence always start with the user’s needs. We are located between Corporate and Startups and leverage the benefits from both (startup speed and corporate muscle). GLS/NXT inhabits different venture teams, acting as startups with business responsibility and setting their own vision, mission, and business plan.
