Based in the tech-capital of South West Germany, a specialist and long-standing company is expanding its R&D team but offering an exceptional Senior Firmware Developer position.


A Titan in the image processing and optical technology sector, this exciting company develops world-renowned applications and products within the measurement technology field. Due to their reputation for finesse and detail, they have truly cemented themselves as a market leader in their industry. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Senior Firmware Developer to exploit their specialist skills to accelerate the expansion of the company.


Responsibilities



  • Development of the hardware/firmware correlated with Optical Measurement products
  • Work on the entire product development lifecycle, from feasibility studies to production introduction
  • Prototype development alongside other team members (Software and Electronics mainly)
  • Improvement and optimization of the existing product portfolio


Desired Skills and Experience


  • Acquired a degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electronics, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in Firmware Development (junior candidates are also welcome to apply)
  • Experience in C/C++ on STM32 microcontrollers and FreeRTOS
  • Experience in System Architecture design
  • English and German fluent
