Process Automation Engineer

Proclinical is seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Process Automation Engineer to join our highly motivated, multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for the integration and support of various control systems in the automation area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, implementation, and validation of SIEMENS control systems, adhering to applicable laws and guidelines.
- Independently review cGMP-relevant documents and create documents in your area of responsibility.
- Participate in the commissioning and qualification activities of the associated GMP-relevant systems.
- Ensure the availability of the systems in your area of responsibility.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues from all the specialist departments involved.
- Contribute to the GMP-compliant operation of the new biotech system.
Requirements
- Degree in electrical or automation engineering or a comparable field.
- Familiarity with automation systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing, ideally in a large-scale, biotechnological, multi-product facility.
- Practical experience in operating a highly automated production system in the biopharmaceutical environment.
- Extensive knowledge of dealing with automation solutions from Siemens (e.g. PCS7, Step 7, WinnCC, etc.).
- Very good knowledge of the applicable national and international laws and guidelines in the cGMP area with a focus on automation.
- Proficiency in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work well in a team and take on new challenges.
