We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our Legal & Compliance department.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the initiative to make our operations internationally oriented by adapting the policies, systems, and processes used by global legal counsel, with a specific focus on the U.S. and Asia.
  • Manage and oversee legal compliance focusing on competition law, product safety, and data protection.
  • Develop and execute strategies for managing trademarks and copyrights registrations, including enforcement actions and resolving disputes.
  • Collaborate with legal teams across Taiwan and the U.S. to ensure consistent legal practices and compliance with both local and international regulations.
  • Provide expert legal advice and training on various compliance issues, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
  • Support local office operations by building administrative processes that align with global legal department operations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to implement best practices in legal compliance, particularly in areas of competition law, product safety, and data protection.
  • Lead and manage cross-border legal projects, ensuring that all operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Foster strong working relationships with both in-house and external legal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment of legal strategies.


What You’ll Bring:

Experience:

  • More than 10 years of post-admission legal work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience implementing and managing global legal department operations.
  • Experience working in both private practice and in-house
  • Experience working in multinational organizations within the consumer goods industry.
  • Extensive experience in handling legal compliance issues, particularly in competition law, product safety, and data protection.
  • Proven experience in managing trademarks and copyrights registrations, including enforcement and dispute resolution.
  • Multi-cultural background and experience in working with international companies.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluent in Chinese and English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus.
  • Qualified to practice in any jurisdiction
  • US Juris Doctorate degree preferred
  • Attention to detail, self-motivator, self-starter, and with a business sense
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills; adept at communicating legal terminology and information both verbal and written to a non-legal audience
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Team orientation with strong integrity and professionalism
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to remain poised under pressure; adaptability in changing/challenging situations
  • Open-minded, embrace adventures, cultural differences, and team spirit
