We are looking for a Planner Specialist for our office in Cologne, Germany: you will play a key role in enhancing our operations by effectively managing orders with subcontractors, our own fleet of trucks, and marketplace sales.

YOUR CHALLENGE WILL BE:

• Accepting orders from our main customer (FTL/LTL);
• Procuring cargo space for shipments;
• Sourcing useful loads to optimize transport;
• Purchasing return loads to maximize efficiency;
• Arranging own subcontractor trucks for transport needs;
• Communicating with the customer to ensure satisfaction;
• Processing claims for any shipment issues;
• Performing maintenance to keep operations running smoothly;
• Maintaining KPIs and statistics to track performance.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have completed training as a freight forwarder or have experience in tour planning;
• You are proficient in written and spoken German and English;
• You have the ability to work independently - you’re self-motivated and ready to take charge;
• You have good knowledge of office software (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• You have initial experience with Timocom—you can navigate our systems with ease;
• You have strong negotiation skills;
• You have a goal-oriented work approach.
