Group Expert Energy Management

The main tasks are effective screening of the entire market as well as identification and evaluation of innovative sustainable energy solutions and equipment that contribute to fulfill Intersnack's ambitious Science Based Scope 1 targets.
The area of responsibility includes feasibility studies of technology solutions and their applications up to the support of implementation at respective locations as well as of conduction of Best Value Option Analyses and Business Case evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Innovative Energy Solutions: Identify and evaluate cutting-edge energy technologies that align with Intersnack's ambitious sustainability goals.
- Feasibility Studies & Implementation: Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and support the implementation of energy-efficient technologies across Intersnack's production sites.
- Business Case Development: Perform Best Value Option Analyses and develop business models for energy solutions.
- Collaboration & Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with startups, established companies, and external partners to foster innovative energy projects.
- Roadmap & Portfolio Management: Develop and manage a portfolio of energy solutions and maintain a roadmap for future technologies.
- Innovation Management: Establish KPIs, improve innovation processes, and support the industrialization of projects within Intersnack's international network.
- Education: University degree in engineering (mechanical, process, energy, environment) or related fields.
- Experience: Minimum 4-6 years in energy management, preferably within the food or chemical industries.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in process control, energy solutions, project management, engineering and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Certifications: PMI or IPMA certification is highly desirable, as well as in energy management.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and innovation management skills, with a passion for sustainability and green technologies.
- Languages: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Willing to travel - expected level of travel of this position is up to 50% of the time.
