Main Purpose of Position:
This role is a key component of the Sales team, based in the DACH Sales Office in Munich, Germany. Reporting to the Manager of Inside Sales & Customer Service DACH, you will work closely with various teams including Inside Sales, Regional Sales, Business Development, and Supplier Development & Product teams to drive the company’s business strategy.
Your responsibilities will include supporting and executing business plans and sales strategies to maximize revenue growth, increase market share, and position the company as a strategic supplier within the assigned customer base. You will also be expected to exceed the defined sales and revenue targets for the DACH region. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in a team-oriented, proactive sales environment. Fluency in both German and English is essential.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide support, training, and guidance to all Inside Sales and Customer Service Representatives in the DACH region.
- Set and review daily, weekly, and monthly objectives for the Inside Sales & Customer Service DACH team.
- Ensure the team’s work aligns with the strategy defined in conjunction with the Manager & Regional Manager, Inside Sales & Customer Service – EMEA.
- Manage the DACH Regional backlog.
- Ensure all ISRs & CSRs adhere to the practices and procedures established at our Global Headquarters.
- Collaborate with the Global team to form strong and effective relationships throughout the organization.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, in conjunction with the EMEA Sales team.
- Participate in all Global and EMEA sales promotions.
- Provide first-class service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Accurately forecast new business opportunities and revenue, ensuring CRM is maintained daily.
- Manage customer feedback, including complaints and order processing.
- Support EMEA Office Manager with ad hoc office management tasks, including vendor correspondence, translation, supply procurement, and Health & Safety requirements.
Preparation, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Extensive experience and knowledge in the semiconductor industry.
- Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written. Additional languages are a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts to co-workers, business partners, and customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to build strong relationships and effectively support and influence colleagues, partners, suppliers, customers, and global team members.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen, combined with creativity and aptitude.
