**Position:** SAN/Storage and UNIX Administrator (m/w/d)


**Location:** Poing, Bavaria, Germany

**Your responsibilities:**

- General system monitoring, performance, and load monitoring.

- Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues.

- Ensuring availability and performance of all systems managed by the team.

- Collaboration within a global team and interregional cooperation.

- Providing support across various IT infrastructure areas.

- Creating concepts and documentation and sharing responsibility for their implementation.

- Participation in projects and sub-projects.

- Continuous exchange of experience and knowledge with colleagues.

- Close collaboration in group-wide IT initiatives.


**What we desire:**

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications.

- Excellent knowledge in SAN and Storage systems administration.

- Skills in analysing and resolving hardware and software errors.

- Expertise in UNIX/Linux system administration.

- Knowledge in server virtualization (VMware, IBM LPAR, AZURE cloud).

- Basic to good knowledge of AD/LDAP authentication, DHCP & DNS, LAN, TCP/IP.

- Proficient in MS-Office products.

- Knowledge of data protection and data security.

- Understanding of IT infrastructure and basic knowledge in ITIL.

- Good German and English language skills.

- Self-initiative, team spirit, friendly, and customer-oriented demeanor.

- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work independently.

- Flexibility, resilience, and high commitment.

- Interest in new technologies.

- Good learning and communication skills.
