Applications Engineer & Support business development


The Field Application Engineer ensures that the systems maintained by the company operates at its best possible performances.

The FAE is very involved in the commissioning of new equipment on the market, he makes sure that it is relevant versus the competition, assists existing customers with the change of the tools set and software and makes new customers references for our new systems.


They play a key role in developing the company's brands and ensuring customer satisfaction. This development is carried out in duo with the Sales Director and the various sales representatives.


Main Activities


  • Equipment acceptance
  • Customer training on the provided equipment
  • End-user and FSE technical support
  • Organizes Demo's and presents the result to the customer to show effective benefits of our systems.
  • Participate in the testing of new options and install them on customer tools in accordance with specifications.
  • Propose or participate in development projects for the company


Sales actions


  • Participate in the development of the commercial strategy
  • Participates in brand business plans and forecasts
  • Draws up a sales action plan


Customer approach


  • Commercial presentations of products and services
  • Builds up and develops a customer portfolio
  • Updates the CRM and contact database in the ERP system


Required Skills


  • Equipment application expertise: Overlay Registration or Photoluminescence technique if possible
  • Personality characteristics
  • Rigor and organization
  • Ability to work in a team



Working Conditions


You will be reporting to the European Operation Director. He is in contact with all the company's teams.

Based in Germany, Dresden (if possible), you will travel for Applications support at customer sites, or at our USA and Korean Factory.
