Assistant Store Manager (m/f/d) - DüsseldorfSalary: €34,800 gross per year + team bonus (approx. €300 per month) Location: DüsseldorfWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm; Saturday until 3:00pm (no shift work)Are you looking for a varied role with clear structure, strong customer interaction and genuine career development opportunities?We are recruiting on behalf of an internationally successful self-storage business for an Assistant Store Manager (m/f/d) in Düsseldorf.The RoleProviding professional advice and selling storage units and additional services (e.g. insurance, packing materials), both face to face in store and over the phoneActively following up leads and making outbound calls to convert enquiries into rentalsIndependently managing rental contracts, renewals, cash handling and customer accountsTaking responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the store, including organisation, security, key and alarm systems and basic site checksWorking with performance KPIs such as occupancy, conversion rates and add-on sales, and producing reportsWorking closely within a small, self-managed store teamWhat's on OfferStructured onboarding with an individual training plan (approx. 16 weeks)Clear development pathways, for example into a Store Manager or District Trainer rolePredictable working hours with no shift patternsModern working environment and a supportive, collaborative teamUniform provided, free drinks and attractive employee discountsAnnual health allowance of €600Company pension scheme and regular training and development opportunitiesWhat We're Looking ForExperience in retail, sales or customer serviceFriendly, professional manner with a genuine enjoyment of customer interaction, both in person and over the phoneSales-focused mindset with an emphasis on excellent service rather than hard sellingVery good German skills at C1 level and good English skills at B2 levelConfident using PCs and CRM systems; a Category B driving licence is advantageousRef: BBBH34043
