As a new member of our Purchase Team, you will work with us on the topics of order processing, prices & payment in connection with online ticketing for events. The Purchase Team is currently one of the three self-organized domain teams of ticket i/O IT, which manage the work on their projects independently. It currently consists of 5 people, including a Tech Lead and a Product Owner.

In total, you can look forward to working with 23 teammates in IT. You will drive forward new features and the further development of our online ticketing software with us in sprints. TypeScript (nodeJS) is our programming language of choice, and we rely on the advantages of nestJS in the backend and ReactJS in the frontend. We build and host our application on AWS, creating a scalable infrastructure based on micro-services.

Since 2014, around 85 employees have been working hard to ensure that everything runs smoothly before, during and after an event.

Tasks
  • Support your team in the continuous development and new implementation in the area of orders, price calculations & payment for online ticketing for events
  • Design and develop new features: from analyzing the requirements to implementing the individual development steps
  • Weigh up visionary ideas and optimal software architecture in a solution-oriented, pragmatic and economical way
  • Take over process monitoring and pay particular attention to scalability
  • A little operation (DevOps), in collaboration with our two administrators
Qualification
  • You like working in agile teams and work in a self-organized and independent manner
  • You know your way around: from the backend and infrastructure to the database
  • You have several years of (professional) experience with Node.js, Nest.js and SQL and are confident with TypeScript, additional knowledge of react would be desirable
  • You have an eye for clean architectures and interfaces
  • In addition, you have experience in using AWS Cloud Services and can conceptualize complex software using Domain Driven Design in an understandable way
  • You perfect your work with the help of UnitTests & Co. and use GIT to stay in sync with your team
  • You speak good German (at least B2) and fluent English
