Your tasks:
Take the driver's seat and help us shape the energy transition (your contribution to our mission): As part of the ECON Senior Team as an Expert Principal (m/f/d) for digital transformation of customer facing / commercial processes, you will take on responsibility for our most important Energy Retail projects and help with your experience and expertise to support the transition into a fully digital and customer centric energy company - making a significant contribution to E.ON's success.
- You will analyze the complex issues facing the energy sector and develop corresponding strategic and operational solutions for our energy retail business (e.g., seamless customer experience, integrated offerings, digital sales platforms, growth business enabkement, one customer identity)
- Working hand-in-hand with the ECON management team, you will take our most important projects forward, lead them and ensure we achieve excellent results and high customer satisfaction
- You will develop a long-term relationship with our customers, the top management for E.ON's business units and act as a competent sparring partner
- Working hand-in-hand with the ECON management team, you will help to build our business, and on eye-level be a critical friend with specific expertise for E.ON's Top Management
- You will steer and built-up ECON internal expertise and knowledge to accelerate thought leadership topics that help ECON and E.ON to manage the transformation
- You will assume leadership for international teams, fostering the personal and professional growth of our project managers and consultants with regular feedback and coaching
Your profile:
- Background: You have an excellent university degree (master's/diploma) in your pocket - we also welcome additional qualifications, such as a doctorate or MBA
- Expertise: You have gained first-hand experience in digital business model and digital sales processes, emerging technology and market dynamics so that you are able to apply your skills to support the digital transformation of the energy retail business (energy or other sectors with similar customer journey, e.g., telco, insurance)
- Skills: You understand challenges in design, operation, and performance of digital sales channels and you have shown the competency to solve them
- Education: You have an excellent university degree (master's/diploma) in your pocket - we also welcome additional qualifications, such as a doctorate or MBA
- Project management: You have already proven yourself as a successful project manager at one of the leading top management consulting firms or in other large-scale projects and you can look back on at least seven years' relevant work experience
- Leadership: Excellent leadership qualities allow you to successfully motivate your team members to achieve top performance levels and to promote their potential accordingly
- Communication: English in business fluent is key for an international team and client base, and you are able to have a presentation in front of board members; German-speaking is a benefit, but not a must
