Who will you be joining?

Group Actuarial is the department within AZ SE in charge of governance for the Actuarial Key Function, sufficiency of reserves and contributes to the actuarial aspects in performance & steering of the Group. It leads or actively contributes to a number of Group dialogues and interacts with top management of the Group and Allianz entities across the globe to ensure a proper Actuarial Key Function, correct and efficient reserving and sufficient reserves.

How can you make an impact?

You will:
  • Conduct comprehensive actuarial reviews, assess accuracy and reliability of data, and conclude on reserve levels.
  • Perform in-depth actuarial analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide strategic and financial recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Oversee the governance of the actuarial function to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
What are you made of?

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in actuarial analysis or a related area.
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Strong actuarial PC know-how and analytical skills
  • Solid technical background in P&C insurance
  • Ability to interact smoothly with senior management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in finance, accounting, or actuarial roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial principles and actuarial practices.
  • Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
