STELLENBESCHREIBUNG

Im Masterstudiengang Intelligent Vehicles, Communication and Sensing wird das im Bachelorstudium erlangte Wissen in der Informationstechnik im Hinblick auf die Vernetzung moderner Kommunikations- und Sensortechniken und deren Anwendung im Automotivebereich weiter vertieft.

Die Unterrichtssprache ist deutsch, einige ausgewählte Lehrveranstaltungen werden in englischer Sprache angeboten. Das gibt interessierten Studierenden die Möglichkeit, sich mit fachspezifischem Vokabular praxisrelevant vertraut zu machen.

Das im Studium erworbene Wissen wird gegen Ende des Studiums in der eigenständigen Bearbeitung einer Forschungsaufgabe (Projektarbeit) und der sich anschließenden Masterarbeit unter Beweis gestellt.

Voraussetzung: in der Regel Hochschulabschluss Bachelor Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik oder Elektrotechnik

Englischkenntnisse auf dem Niveau B 2 des Europäischen Referenzrahmens für Sprachen (Abschluss der UNIcert Zertifikatsstufe 2, Abiturniveau oder gleichwertiger Abschluss)

Regelstudienzeit: 4 Semester

Abschluss: Master of Science (M.Sc.)

Studienbeginn: Wintersemester

Berufliche Möglichkeiten

Die beruflichen Perspektiven für die Absolventen des Masterstudienganges Intelligent Vehicles, Communication and Sensing sind sehr attraktiv. Die vermittelten Inhalte bieten vielfältige Möglichkeiten, sowohl auf dem deutschen als auch auf dem internationalen Arbeitsmarkt. Diese Einschätzung kann mit großer Sicherheit aus den Erfahrungen der bisherigen Diplomausbildung auf dem Gebiet der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik an der TU Chemnitz abgeleitet werden, die dieser Masterstudiengang unter Einbeziehung neuer Anforderungen aus der Praxis fortsetzt und erweitert. Zum einen haben neben international beheimateten IT-Firmen große deutsche Industrieunternehmen – nicht zuletzt auch aus dem Automotivebereich – naturgemäß auch in Zukunft hohes Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaufkommen. Zum anderen brauchen aber auch die vielen kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen nicht zuletzt in Sachsen branchenübergreifend motivierte und gut ausgebildete IT-Mitarbeiter, um entsprechende Innovationen in Produkte und Dienstleistungen umzusetzen. Den fachlichen Fähigkeiten der Absolventen dieses Masterstudienganges kommt deshalb überregional, aber in hohem Maße auch regional bezogen, große Verantwortung zu.

Nach einer VDE-Young Professional Studie attestieren 80% der Unternehmen Elektroingenieuren auf dem Arbeitsmarkt beste Chancen. Gleichzeitig fürchtet jedes dritte Unternehmen, den Bedarf an Fachkräften in absehbarer Zeit nicht mehr decken zu können. Regelmäßige Gespräche mit der Verbundinitiative Automobilzulieferer Sachsen (AMZ) bestätigen diesen Trend auch für den Bereich "Automotive" und damit insbesondere für Sachsen.
