Your role

As a 'Tactical Buyer', you will be jointly responsible for our operational, group-wide procurement of indirect materials and services. Your main focus will be on the realisation of different requirements, tactical procurement and cooperation with internal stakeholders & suppliers in day-to-day business.

Your future plans

  • Tactical procurement of indirect product groups in line with the product group strategy
  • Checking the quality and completeness of purchase requisitions and liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Triggering purchase orders in SAP
  • Tracking of order confirmations, delivery notifications, etc.
  • Archiving documents in accordance with local requirements
  • Support in investigating the root cause analysis of invoice discrepancies
  • Maintaining procurement data for tactical procurement
  • Solving availability problems in coordination with the requisitioners
  • Coordination of delivery and quality deviations with the respective requester

Your profile

  • Completed commercial or technical training or completed studies
  • Relevant professional experience in operational purchasing
  • Initial experience or interest in contract negotiations and tenders
  • Confident handling of SAP-MM module
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Skills in building relationships with internal stakeholders & suppliers
  • Good communication skills in German and English, ideally also good knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Spanish, French, Dutch
  • Goal-orientated way of working, willingness to perform and willingness to learn and develop
  • Service-orientation and 'get the job done' mentality
