You will
- Perform, evaluate and present experiments related to photonic integrated circuits
- Evaluate the achievable specifications using analytical methods
- Derive critical system parameters based on system understanding and results
- Screen and evaluate related literature and commercially available solutions
You have
- You are enrolled in a Master's program in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable with excellent results
- Knowledge in the field of integrated photonics or electro-optic modulators is a plus
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills (English and/or German) as well as innovation skills
- Passion for innovation, enthusiasm for new technologies and motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
