You will

  • Perform, evaluate and present experiments related to photonic integrated circuits
  • Evaluate the achievable specifications using analytical methods
  • Derive critical system parameters based on system understanding and results
  • Screen and evaluate related literature and commercially available solutions

You have

  • You are enrolled in a Master's program in Physics, Photonics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or comparable with excellent results
  • Knowledge in the field of integrated photonics or electro-optic modulators is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills (English and/or German) as well as innovation skills
  • Passion for innovation, enthusiasm for new technologies and motivation to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams
