Senior Avionics Test Systems Engineer

Join our prestigious client's dynamic avionics design team in Mannheim, Germany, where innovation and excellence converge to shape the future of aviation technology. As a Senior Avionics Test Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading projects that push the boundaries of testing methodologies in aviation systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Avionics Testing Leadership: Lead avionics testing projects, providing strategic direction and guidance to a team of engineers,
  • Systems Integration and Testing: Oversee the integration of avionics systems and conduct thorough testing to validate performance and functionality,
  • Test Procedures Development: Create detailed test procedures to verify avionics systems compliance with industry standards,
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment with goals,
  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex issues during avionics testing to ensure robust systems,
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance avionics testing processes and tools for improved efficiency,
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation and prepare detailed reports on testing activities and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Languages: Fluent in English with German language skills,
  • Project Requirement: NATO or EU approval due to involvement in classified projects,
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline,
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a STEM-related field,
  • Software Proficiency: Strong background in software development and configuration management tools,
  • LabWindows CVI Experience: Hands-on experience with LabWindows CVI or similar tools,
  • Programming Skills: Expertise in ADA, C, C++, C#, or .NET,
  • Requirements Development: Experience in requirements analysis and decomposition,
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify and solve complex problems,
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with teammates for project success.
