Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic team player to join the Global Partnerships & Channels team. As a Partner Sales Seller, you will play a vital role in driving and supporting a strategy to accelerate and expand the growth of our business across various partner types within the General Business segment.

This pivotal position demands a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and a hands-on approach. Success hinges on executing a plan to foster the growth of our partner network within the General Business sector, particularly focusing on our key accounts and driving new partner-generated pipeline. The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, capable of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders. Demonstrating a proven track record of delivering outcomes and getting things done, you will possess solid business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to cultivate relationships with executive leaders in the partner ecosystem.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Create a comprehensive Partner go-to-market strategy in collaboration with Area Sales leadership to boost sales through partners within the General Business Area.
  • Make a measurable impact within the first 60 days. Demonstrate a drive for results and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Possess a deep understanding of scaling and sustaining businesses in a competitive, evolving market environment.
  • Implement the Partner Sales strategy for your designated Area and the Global Partnerships & Channels Ecosystem Operating Model.
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow partners to generate new business in current accounts, new markets, and acquire ServiceNow net new clients, while ensuring our partners contribute to the success of projects within a specified territory.
  • Efficiently engage with and motivate individuals at all levels of partner relationships.
  • Demonstrate political acumen, a strong business grasp, and the ability to identify key decision-makers.
  • Work closely with marketing to plan and execute events that drive new revenue.
Qualifications

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates with:

  • A proven track record of surpassing sales and partner sales revenue targets.
  • Solid business acumen, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A strategic thinker who can blend consulting and business strategies to create compelling plans for new partner initiatives.
  • A history of effectively establishing and leading multiple strategic partnerships.
  • Comfort with complexity and the ability to think at various levels of abstraction, employing critical thinking techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • The capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in cultivating and nurturing unique relationships with partners in the SI, Reseller, MSP, and ISV community.
  • A proven ability to drive substantial revenue growth through partnerships.
  • Comfort with interfacing with diverse internal teams, ranging from individual contributors to senior executives, and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and other entities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.

Desired Skills/Experience/Assets:

  • Broad business and technology knowledge, with at least 5 years of experience in alliance management, consulting, or sales, demonstrating a history of successful business development endeavors.
  • Experience working with organizations across various cities/verticals.
  • Background of collaborating with multiple Sales teams to enhance and expand the partner network.
  • Self-motivated with a builder mindset, capable of planning, organizing, executing strategies, and influencing others.
  • Highly motivated and independent contributor.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and a deep passion for the business.
  • Holder of a degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
