In der Sektion 4.5 untersuchen wir gekoppelte Prozesse im geologischen Untergrund. Wir integrieren die Ergebnisse geologischer und geophysikalischer Untersuchungen mit Prozesssimulationen, um die geodynamische Entwicklung zu verstehen und Vorhersagen zur Nutzung des geologischen Untergrunds abzuleiten. Zur Analyse entwickeln wir datengestützte Modelle, mit denen wir z.B. die Entwicklung der Druck- und Temperaturbedingungen durch die Zeit, heute und für künftige Szenarien berechnen. Für diese digitalen Zwillinge entwickeln wir spezielle numerische Tools zur 3D Datenintegration und zur Simulation von gekoppelten thermisch-hydraulisch-mechanischen Prozessen. Für dieses Aufgabengebiet suchen wir Unterstützung.
Ihr Aufgabengebiet
Entwicklung und Dokumentation von Softwarebibliotheken und Programmsystemen
Unterstützung bei der Pflege und Entwicklung von objektorientierten, HPC-skalierbaren Softwarelösungen für die geologisch-mathematische Prozessmodellierung
Entwicklung von Visualisierungskonzepten und softwaregestützten Lösungen (z.B. GUI) zur verbesserten Visualisierung von komplexen geologischen Objekten, Strukturen und Prozessen
Erarbeitung von Modellierungsalgorithmen zur Beschreibung geologischer Prozesse z.B. im Bereich der Sedimentbeckenbildung
Entwicklung von objektorientierter und bibliotheksfähiger Software für die geologisch-mathematische Prozessmodellierung und -simulation
Entwicklung von interaktiven Modellierungssystemen für verschiedene Prozessmodelle
Entwicklung von Visualisierungsmethoden für komplexe geologische Objekte, Strukturen und Prozesse
Systemadministration (lokale Maschinen und Rechenserver)
Ihr Qualifikationsprofil:
Master- oder Diplomabschluss in Informatik oder Naturwissenschaften
umfassende Kenntnisse in allgemeiner Hochsprachenprogrammierung (z.B. C++) sowie in interpretierten Programmiersprachen (z.B. Python)
