Trust in Soda is partnering with a leading global consultancy to find talented Data Engineers with expertise in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your data skills across various locations in Germany, playing a pivotal role in driving data-driven innovation within the healthcare sector.
About You:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Proven experience working within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry, understanding their specific data challenges and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP - preferred).
  • Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data quality tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in German (written and spoken) is essential; English proficiency is a plus.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with clients from various functions within Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals to understand their data needs and design solutions.
  • Develop and implement data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement data security measures to comply with industry regulations.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to support their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest data engineering technologies and trends.

Über Sie:
  • Mindestens 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung im Entwerfen, Entwickeln und Warten von Datenpipelines und -infrastrukturen.
  • Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Arbeit in der Biowissenschafts- oder Pharmabranche und Verständnis ihrer spezifischen Datenherausforderungen und -vorschriften.
  • Gute Kenntnisse von Big-Data-Technologien (z. B. Hadoop, Spark) und Cloud-Plattformen (AWS, Azure, GCP - bevorzugt).
  • Erfahrung mit Data Warehousing, Data Lakes und Datenqualitätstools.
  • Kenntnisse in Programmiersprachen wie Python, Java oder Scala.
  • Hervorragende Kommunikations-, Zusammenarbeits- und Problemlösungsfähigkeiten.
  • Fließende Deutschkenntnisse (schriftlich und mündlich) sind unerlässlich; Englischkenntnisse sind ein Plus.
Was Sie tun werden:
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Kunden aus verschiedenen Funktionen innerhalb der Biowissenschaften/Pharmazie, um deren Datenanforderungen zu verstehen und Lösungen zu entwickeln.
  • Entwicklung und Implementierung von Datenpipelines zum Aufnehmen, Transformieren und Laden von Daten aus verschiedenen Quellen.
  • Aufbau und Wartung von Data Warehouses und Data Lakes für Datenanalyse und -berichterstattung.
  • Gewährleistung der Datenqualität und -integrität während des gesamten Datenlebenszyklus.
  • Entwicklung und Implementierung von Datensicherheitsmaßnahmen zur Einhaltung der Branchenvorschriften.
  • Zusammenarbeit mit Datenwissenschaftlern und Analysten zur Unterstützung ihrer Anforderungen.
  • Bleiben Sie über die neuesten Datentechniktechnologien und -trends auf dem Laufenden.
