As our new BI Developer (m/f/d) you translate business needs into technical specifications.

Your tasks:

  • You develop:
    • (fe Python, SQL, Spark, Azure Synapse, MS Fabric) in the ETL layer based on customer needs and specifications
    • reporting systems that provide accessible information to support business decision making eg generate reports based on warehouse data, internal customer data, etc. delivering quality reports
  • You perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
  • You maintain data analytics platforms
  • You evaluate and improve existing BI systems and conduct troubleshooting on BI models
  • You cooperate with other IT colleagues to deploy software and hardware upgrades that make it possible to leverage big data use cases
  • You work in the principles of Data Domains / Data MESH

Your Profile:

  • Qualification : University degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Experience and know-how :
    • At least 3 years of experience as BI Developer (Python, SQL, Spark, Azure Synapse, MS Fabric)
    • Deep experience in Data Warehouse Design (Modeling DWH layers and dataflows, Data Marts & Cubes aligned with Data MESH and Medallion Architecture)
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Stakeholders and Project Management (agile Methods, SCRUM)
    • Strong background in ETL concepts, development and programming (DevOps, Microservices, Jobscheduling)
    • Working knowledge on BI Frontends / Reporting Technologies (Power BI),
    • Knowledge in Data Governance, Data Mining / Advanced Analytics.
  • Languages ​​: Excellent language skills both written and verbal in English.
  • Working : Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful and proactive, strong attention to details.
  • Personality : Ability to work in a team, flexibility, motivation, good intercultural and interpersonal skills
