What you will be responsible for
The Tax Declarations and Investor Reporting InvStG team is headed by the following activities:
- Leadership, management and development of 8 employees
- Coordination and responsibility for the preparation of tax documentation (declaration of assessment, reconciliation invoice, tax information, individual tax certificate, etc.) for sending to the tax office and investors
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and tax requirements by legislators or the Federal Ministry of Finance
- Support for projects in the area of the Investment Tax Act, in particular in the area of institutional German special funds
- Central contact for external auditing and tax consulting firms
- Contact person for inquiries from the tax office, the tax audit, our customers and internal interfaces
- Support for special projects in the context of corrections or future-oriented automation and digitization

Education & preferred qualifications
- Initial management experience of employees in the tax environment advantageous
- Degree in economics or comparable (banking) training with subject-related professional experience
- Several years of professional experience at capital management companies or a tax consulting or auditing firm in the tax area Financial Services for asset management companies and banks
- Experience in fund accounting or with the SimcorpDimension system and/or comparable fund accounting systems
- Sound knowledge of the Investment Tax Act and experience in the Investment Tax Reform Act
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; General IT affinity
- Fluent in German and good English
