Das Max-Planck-Institut für Gravitations­physik (Albert-Einstein-Institut, AEI) ist die welt­weit größte Forschungs­einrichtung zur Allgemeinen Relativitäts­theorie und darüber hinaus­gehenden Themen. Wissenschaftsmanager*in (m/w/d) und Koordinator*in (m/w/d)
der Graduiertenschule (International Max Planck Research School, IMPRS) "Gravity at the Extreme: From Theory to Observation"
Der*Die IMPRS Koordinator*in (m/w/d) und Wissenschaftsmanager*in (m/w/d) arbeitet an der Schnitt­stelle von Wissen­schaft und Verwaltung. Die viel­fältigen Tätig­keiten umfassen die Unter­stützung der wissen­schaftlichen Leitung der IMPRS sowie deren laufende koordinierende Organisation, inklusive Abstimmung mit den Partner­universitäten (Universität Potsdam, Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, University of Mary­land, Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics) und dem AEI-Hannover, den Aufbau eines Alumni-Netzwerks und die Organisation von Veranstaltungen am AEI-Potsdam.

Ihre Aufgaben:
  • Organisation und Koordination der wissen­schaftlichen und administrativen Belange der IMPRS
  • Integration und Koordination der bestehenden Programme und Aktivitäten der IMPRS und ihrer universitären Partner
  • Organisation von Lehrveranstaltungen der IMPRS (z.B. Lecture Days / Weeks, Kurse, Vorlesungen)
  • Organisation der jährlichen Meetings der Promo­vierenden mit ihren Betreuenden (Thesis Advisory Committees)
  • Kontaktperson der Promovierenden für alle administrativen Belange
  • Betreuung des Rekrutierungs­prozesses der IMPRS
  • Betreuung der Webseite der IMPRS
  • Aufbau eines Mentoring-Programms, das Alumni und Promovierende ver­netzt
  • Aufbau eines Alumni-Netzwerks des Instituts
  • Organisation von Veranstaltungen am AEI-Potsdam (z.B. Ver­anstaltungen für die bzw. mit den Alumni, Instituts­jubiläum)

Ihre Qualifikationen:
  • Abgeschlossenes naturwissen­schaftliches Studium oder
  • Abgeschlossenes Studium im Hochschul‐ und Wissenschafts­management
  • Erfahrungen in den oben genannten Aufgaben­bereichen
  • Erfahrungen mit Studierenden aus unter­schied­lichen Hinter­gründen
  • Sehr gute englische und deutsche Sprach­kenntnisse
