We are looking for a student assistant for an exciting research project as soon as possible, for a time of at least 15 hours per week.

If you are still looking for a master's thesis or are looking for a smooth transition into the professional world as a working student, we have a wonderful opportunity for you: "RADARS - 5G/6G Real-time Anomaly Detection and Response with Security-Baselining". This is a BSI research project that combines modern AI-based security applications with future-oriented mobile communications technology in infrastructures or campus networks. This not only gives you a glimpse into the core areas of dacoso, but directly into the heart of digitalization with the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence.

dacoso is a leading IT service provider in the DACH region and brings network performance and data security to its business customers. Our focus is on managed services for optical networks, intelligent networks and cyber security, which we operate for customers in our certified IT Networks & Security Operations Center. Your tasks
  • Contact person for planning and implementation of the research project: "RADARS - 5G/6G Real-time Anomaly Detection and Response with Security-Baselining" in cooperation with the TU Chemnitz and the BSI
  • Research and development in our Managed Security Services
  • Dealing with data analytics and machine learning models
  • Operation and creation of deployment specifications
  • Deployment, development and improvement of continuous integration and
    continuous delivery pipelines
  • Automating config management using continuous delivery
  • Development, configuration and operational operation of container solutions and their orchestration systems
  • Configuration and operational operation of persistence and messaging technologies


your profile
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in the IT environment as well as in the implementation of the Master's degree or in the completion of the Master's thesis
  • Good knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g. Go, Java, Python as well as Ansible, Terraform, Packer) as well as familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g. Bitbucket, Github, JFrog, ArgoCD)
  • Experienced use of the orchestration tools Kubernetes and Docker
  • Confident working in the Linux environment (e.g. RedHat, Ubuntu)
  • Technology-loving and very interested in current technological developments as well as fun in exploring and using new tools and functionalities
  • Hands-on mentality for a proactive and pragmatic approach
