The European Marketing Finance team has an opening for a highly analytical individual to join our team as a Senior Finance Analyst.
We're looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking person to join our European team.In this key role, you will be the finance partner and trusted advisor to a key strategic area of the business - EU Marketing, ensuring that the drivers of performance are well understood, providing your business partners with actionable insights, performing forecasts and building strategic plans.
Just like the CFO of a business, you will act as a go to person for all finance related questions for your business area.
Your role will involve close collaboration with various EU and US based marketing, business and finance teams.
Finance is all about the you work at Amazon; it is about knowing the numbers and so much more.
As finance leaders, we're not just a reporting function, but a core part of the business, developing strong partnerships and creating value through insightful analyses.

1) Act as a business partner to the European markets marketing area, by collaborating with the business on analysis and insight generation to support decision making
2) Lead regular business reviews (weekly, monthly and quarterly) and deep dive into performance drivers where necessary.
3) Build accurate Marketing budget forecasts, lead business and strategic plans for your area
5) Regularly interact with Directors and senior leadership to explain the performance of our different Marketing channels and to suggest areas of improvement
6) Develop ad-hoc business analysis and strategies, and present recommendations to senior management
GRUNDQUALIFIKATIONEN
Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor's degree and experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
- Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits)
