About the UnitOur new Marketing Design Intern will support our marketing efforts by creating visually engaging and user-centric designs across various digital platforms. This role requires a blend of graphic design skills for creating captivating visuals and UX design skills for optimizing user experiences. This is a 3-month internship position with the possibility of extension to 6 months based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the marketing, brand and product teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Design compelling visuals for digital marketing and brand campaigns, including social media graphics, email newsletters, website banners, and digital ads.
- Develop mockups to illustrate UX/UI concepts and solutions.
- Iterate designs based on feedback and user testing to continually improve usability and engagement.
- Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of design assets, templates, and brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, UX/UI design, and digital marketing.
- Work Experience: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program (e.g., Graphic Design, UX Design, Digital Media, Marketing, etc.)
- Other Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and web design principles is a plus.
- Hard Skills: Adobe Suite, Figma, Microsoft 365
- Soft Skills: Communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, organisational skills.
- Other Requirements: Strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in graphic design and UX/UI design principles.
