All about the role

As our Senior Frontend Developer in the logistics department of JET you will have the opportunity to employ cutting edge technologies and practices in order to provide the most enjoyable user experience to our hard-working colleagues who are supporting the food delivery activities.

We're all about autonomy, which means giving you ownership of our client-side applications and giving you the freedom to make key technical decisions.


These are some of the key ingredients to the role:
  • Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to improve our systems and their functionality (delivery, scheduling, shift planning, etc.)
  • Solving complex engineering problems to enhance our service and the overall user experience
  • Building your expertise on topics such as JavaScript and React
  • Promoting and contributing to good software engineering practices across the team and our wider IT setup
  • Creating well-tested, robust and user-friendly applications in collaboration with our UI/UX Design and Product specialists
  • Taking part in technical discussions and contributing valuable ideas to your team

What will you bring to the table?

  • Experience working as a Frontend Developer on multiple projects
  • You're a natural team player who enjoys practices like pair programming, code review and knowledge-sharing
  • Good knowledge of modern styling systems like CSS-in-JS, PostCSS or CSS modules
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6), Typescript, React and general data visualization
  • Experienced in consuming RESTful services
  • Strong understanding of AWS (DevOps) and CI/CD
  • In-depth experience with testing techniques (unit, integration and E2E)
  • Experienced in building client-side applications and making architectural decisions in technology stacks, deployments, testing and application structure
  • Fluent English (written & spoken)
