RESPONSIBILITIES

In our Digital Supply Chain unit, we handle tank and silo transports for deliveries in international transport by road and also manage the tank containers to be used for these transports. We deliver to our customers within and outside

Europe, taking into account the required customer arrival dates at cost- and quality-optimum conditions.

  • You control and monitor the charging times as well as the loading at the associated companies and external charging points.
  • Furthermore, you ensure the prompt communication of disruptions to the normal planning process or the execution of transport to the internal customer and agreement on changed economic and/or temporal transport conditions.
  • In addition, you monitor and assess the quality of our service providers, transport reliability, and response rates.
  • You are responsible for checking any additional costs incurred, preparing the associated freight accounting bases, and ensuring that these documents are properly archived.
  • You create rental contracts in SAP, be responsible for the Quality management and check ancillary rental costs.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • apprenticeship as Speditionskaufmann/-frau or comparable commercial or logistical training is preferred
  • first professional experience in the field of tank and silo transport disposition as a transport manager is preferred
  • extensive knowledge in the areas of supply chain operations, distribution and warehousing processes as well as in production and process flows
  • experienced handling of MS Office products as well as ideal experience with SAP R/3 quality management and transport management
  • experience in working with International Teams
  • fluent German and good written and spoken English skills
